Come Back Out to the Polls for Aaron Watson!
In this Run-off election on Tuesday, December 1st, we as a community will decide who leads Atlanta for the next four years.
I hope that you will come back out to vote for me on or before Tuesday December 1st. I am a lawyer, a trained CPA and I have raised my family here. I am deeply committed to Atlanta and I have the experience and maturity to do the job.
Every vote counts in this election, which is why I need you to vote as soon as possible. Early Voting begins this Wednesday November 18th and continues with advance voting through Wednesday November 25th.

My Reform Record Includes:
- Public Education - As President of Atlanta Board of Education (1994- 1998, 2001), I led financial and educational reform and oversaw an operating budget of $450 million.
- Affordable Housing - As a Commissioner with Atlanta Housing Authority (2005 - 2009) I assisted AHA with transforming 16 public housing projects into viable, healthy mixed-income communities.
- Smart Growth - As a Board Member of the Atlanta Development Authority I steadfastly supported the Atlanta BeltLine and other smart growth initiatives.
My Credentials Include:
- Atlanta Board of Education (1994 - 2001) - board president for five years; raised academic standards and salaries without raising property taxes
- Atlanta Housing Authority (2005 - June 2009) - instrumental in transforming Atlantas public housing as a commissioner
- Atlanta Development Authority (under 3 Mayors) - board member; advocated for smart growth and affordable housing
- Juris Doctorate 1985, Duke University - practicing law in Atlanta for over 20 years
- BBA Accounting 1978, Notre Dame - CPA with Deloitte & Touche, 1978 -1982
